APPROVAL & APPRECIATION
Hi Mary,
Thanks for your help! I talked with Sally and her husband yesterday and they’re very pleased with how you helped to resolve their color differences.
Now for the great news – I am very pleased with the exterior colors!
We have already heard from some of our neighbors and they couldn’t say enough about the paint choices (my husband said they actually gushed!) Looking forward to our interior color consultations!

Built in 1932, this Arts and Crafts Tudor Style Residence betrayed its original elegance with unremarkable colors unrelated to the random stonework and clinker-brick chimney. We solved these problems in a tailored and natural style.

APPROVAL & APPRECIATION

Dear Mary,
Thank you so much for your expertise and your patience! I’m very excited to get the house painted – Pray for good weather! I will definitely have you over as soon as it is done! I’m hoping you will consider me one of your great successes!
Love,
Jen

Lacework moldings form a delightful decoration, their shapes emphasized with the selection of delicate colors.

Designed by noted architect Joseph Jacobberger, this house was built in 1911. The completely restored historic home has new colors provided by ART FIRST.

The colors capture the historic nature of the place while accomodating the taste of the new owners.
The stucco color is integral to the mix.

On Exterior Color Design

"A computer-generated picture of your house, shown in any number of color combinations, can't bring out the actual appearance of paint color with the individual nuances of light and shade, influences of landscaping and surroundings. A personal visit, interview about your color preferences, and on-site exploration of the myriad paint color possibilities always returns the best result. I know, having tried both methods in my twenty-five year partnership with color".
-Mary McMurray of ART FIRST

A warm and dignified presence adorns the neighborhood with our new colors on this home.

APPROVAL & APPRECIATION

Dear Ms. McMurray,
Thanks! We really like the colors – a lot!
We look forward to contacting you soon to move forward in the process.
Sincerely,
Gene R.

A charming residence in the West Hills, dramatically improved by subtle changes: the location and shape of the attic vent, and the color make-over.
Contemporary French manor style made more inviting with crisp colors.
A true bungalow, resurrected from bland obscurity by Art First.

A Mediterranean look in Portland? We achieved it according to the wishes of this homeowner.

Express yourself with new house colors, like these happy homeowners did, with the help of ART FIRST. We picked the new roof color too.

right: The formerly unhappy house colors

A Victorian exterior, formerly painted white, now restored to appropriate paint colors for the era. A warm putty color for the body is offset by cream and tan trim, with golden ochre accents.
